You can read the materials in the library freely.
Please refer to Floor Guide and How to search materials (catalog search).

    <Copyright Warning>

    • Writing can be copied not entirely but partially. (A unit must be less than half the whole work.)
    • Articles carried in periodicals can be copied entirely. However, those articles must have passed some time after publishing. Namely, the next issue has already been published, and the periodical is published over three months ago.
    • The number of copies is limited to one person
    • Copies are for investigation and research purposes.
    • Regardless of whether the cost of copying is free or not, make sure not to copy again or to hand out the copies.

      You can make photocopies of our materials, but not your private ones.

      1. Make photocopies by yourself.
        The photocopy card purchased at institute's expense is required.

      2. Fill out a photocopy request form and submit it to an assigned box.
      3. Return the materials to their proper places on the shelves, please.

      @ \1,000 (105 sheets), \3,000 (320 sheets), \5,000 (540 sheets).
      @The cards enable you to make photocopies at Institute's expense.


    2. Photocopying at Private Expense

      You can make photocopies of our materials, but not your private ones.

      Usage

      1. Fill out a photocopy request form and submit it to the staff at the Circulation Desk.
        (Pink sheet is for members and blue one is for non-members).
      2. Make photocopies by yourself.
        A 1000 yen bill( old version only ) and the 500 yen coin is acceptable to exchange.
        Photocopiers for private expense O-okayama: 1st fl. / Suzukakedai: 1st fl.
      3. Return the materials to their proper places on the shelves, please.

    1. Borrowing

      You can check out books, language tapes and CD-ROMs at the Circulation Desk.
      You also can use a self check-out machine ( Library card
      is required. For books, only.)
      Please use a self check-out machine
      on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays as possiple.

    2. Return

      Please return books to the Circulation Desk.
      When the Library is closed, please return them into the book chute. 
      If the book becomes overdue, your borrowing privileges will be suspended as many days as the book is overdue..

    3. Renewal <Restricted to Tokyo Tech members>

      You can renew the books if no one has requested it.

    4. Reservations <Restricted to Tokyo Tech members>
      Please search our OPAC to see if the book you need is being borrowd by someone.
      If it is, please come to the Circulation Desk with; title, ID in the seven-digit number,
      call number and the due date of the book. (you can pirnt out the search result screen).



    5. Purchase Request

      Before submitting your request, please search the OPAC to see if the Library already owns the item.

    Campus Loan (Ordering Books and photocopies) <Restricted to Tokyo Tech members>
    1. Request for books from Ookayama or Suzukakedai <Restricted to Tokyo Tech members>

      You can borrow the books shelved in the other library.
      By submitting the request, you can pick the book up at the library you belong to, and can
      return it to both libraries.

      You can request photocopies from the other library.

        Placing requests
      First of all, please search the OPAC to see if another Institute Library owns the item.
      Next, fill out the request form and submit it to the
      Circulation Desk.
      One request form per article is required .
      If you pay it for Institute expenses, you'll need a signature and a seal of teaching staff who
      will pay for it.
