Remote Access

Tokyo Tech students, full-time instructors, and part-time instructors can also access the e-books from off campus using the SSL-VPN.

*If you cannot access e-resources via SSL-VPN, you may be able to access it by disabling IPv6. In that case, please try to disable IPv6.
 [Example of configuration on Mac] Open System Preferences > Network. => Select the active network adapter. => Click on the Advanced button. => Click on the TCP/IP tab. => Select the Configure IPv6 drop-down menu and set it Off.


Some publishers support remote access options other than keeping connection to SSL-VPN.

1. Create an individual account on a publisher's website

If you create or sign in to your account of a publisher or vendor while on a computer connected to Tokyo Tech campus network (on campus or via SSL-VPN), your account will be associated with the institutional subscription. Access via your account can be used remotely for a certain period.
