Tokyo Institute of Technology's Catalog (OPAC)
- Simultaneously search the Tokyo Institute of Technology Library's collection of books, journals, doctoral thesis, reports under grants-in-aid for scientific research, and conference proceedings, etc., as well as digital journals and digital books accessible at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
- You can also search the table of contents using the TDL Scientific Book Contents Search of TDL Original Databases and the table of contents of major books published after 2013.
- From the OPAC search results, you can access electronic journals and electronic books subscribed to by Tokyo Institute of Technology and research paper information in the TDL Original Databases. [Campus members only]
- You can verify whether a book is checked out or not.
- Books that are currently checked out can be reserved. Books located in the library of other campuse can also be requested from the library. [Campus members only]
- Search results can be used for the Ordering photocopies/Interlibrary Loan service of TDL Online Request. [Campus members only]
- From OPAC, you can search “CiNii Books”, “NDL Search”, “Webcat Plus”, “amazon”, and “WorldCat”.
- Searches are mutually linked with Tokyo Tech STAR Search.
- A mobile phone version of OPAC is also available for use.
Electronic journals, Electronic books, and Acadenic information databases [Campus members only]
- Major electronic journals, books, as well as academic information database on mainly science and technology are all available at Tokyo Tech.

- OPAC, electronic journals available at Tokyo Tech or “Ordering Photocopies / Interlibrary Loan” on TDL online request are all accessible through some ‘search result’ from academic information database.
TDL Original Databases
TDL Article Database
- Databases have been prepared and are provided on the table of contents information from technical papers and international conference proceedings in Tokyo Institute of Technology's collection
- You can search from SwetScan (SwetsWise online contents; table of contents data from approximately 17,000 foreign language journals) and SDOS (ScienceDirect OnSite; 62 titles of digital journals). [Campus members only]
- From the TDL Article Database search results, you can access OPAC.
- From the TDL Article Database search results, you can access electronic journals available at Tokyo Tech. [Campus members only]
- Search results can be used for the Ordering photocopies/Interlibrary Loan service of TDL Online Request. [Campus members only]

TDL Thesis Database
- Index information on all doctoral thesis awarded by the Tokyo Institute of Technology (in the collection of the Tokyo Institute of Technology Library) has been compiled into a searchable database.
- Doctoral thesis awarded by the Tokyo Institute of Technology for which the author's permission has been granted can be browsed in their full text in PDF format.

TDL Scientific Book Contents Search
- Search the book name, author, and table of contents information from books, centered mainly on Books “Written by Professors of Tokyo Tech”
- You can also view the cover page of books for which permission has been granted by the publishers.

- Of the TDL Original Databases, cross searches can be conducted covering the TDL Article Database and TDL Thesis Database.

Ordering photocopies/Interlibrary Loan Service
- Ordering photocopies
- Copies of library material such as research papers, articles, and chapters from books that are not in the collection of your campus can be requested online from your research lab from other campuses (Ookayama to Suzukakedai or Suzukakedai to Ookayama) or from off-campus libraries.
- You will receive an email notification when the requested copies becomes available.
- Requested copies of on-campus materials applied for online can be browsed or printed from your research lab's computer screen as long as the copy is monochrome.
- You can check past applications online in a list format.
- Interlibrary Loan request
- Books from other off-campus libraries (domestically and internationally) can be requested online from your research lab.
- An email notification will be sent to you when the material becomes available.

Applications for recommending books [Faculty members only]
- You can recommend books for the library's collection from your research lab over the Internet.
- Books recommended for class
- Books recommended from “Books Written by Professors of Tokyo Tech” or “Books Written by Alumni of Tokyo Tech”. (personal recommendation / other recommendation)
Requesting books
- You can request online that the library purchase a particular book not in its collection
Subscribing Journals requests [Faculty members only]
- You can request new subscriptions or terminate an existing subscription of journals subscribed to through the library online from your research lab. However, the period must be designated for foreign language journals journals due to contractual reasons.
- Then you can view the list of journal titles for which the library currently has a subscription.
- The arrival of your research lab's new journal will be notified by email.
Budget usage report [Budget managers only]
- You can check a statement of public funds usage by your research lab through the library from your research lab online.
Reservation and Borrowing status
- You can check online the title and due date of books currently loaned out.
- You can view a list of the books you have reserved or backordered from another campus library as well as the status of each.
Borrowing history
- You can view your check-out history of books you have borrowed over the previous one-year period and are currently borrowing.
Reading Record List
- You can register/manage books you would like to read or information about books you have already read.
Book review postings
- You can write and publish your comments or impression about a book you read that can be searched in the Tokyo Institute of Technology Library's Catalog (OPAC) or TDL Online Request.
Facility reservations
- You can apply online to reserve the following facilities.

- Seminar Presentation Room in Suzukakedai
