[To Tokyo Tech members] APC waivers for open access publication in Cambridge University Press journals

Tokyo Institute of Technology has signed a Read and Publish agreement with Cambridge University Press (CUP). The agreement is designed to maintain our access to journals in CUP Journal STM Package, a package of science, technology and medicine journals, while also supporting open access publishing for Tokyo Tech authors.

The agreement covers the Article Processing Charges (APCs), therefore you can publish open access without any charges if the publishing meets the following conditions:

• Articles: The corresponding author is affiliated with Tokyo Tech
  *The corresponding author must belong to Tokyo Tech at the time of APC payment, not the submission or acceptance of the article.
• Journals: Titles included in CUP Journal STM Package

• Period: January 1, 2020 - December 31, 2022
  *Relevant for eligibility is the date the article is processed by RightsLink, a platform for APC payment.
  *The contract period might be extended.
• Note: When submitting your article, please register your Tokyo Tech Mail address (m.titech.ac.jp).
