Service Changes due to Library System Upgrades

Due to the updating of the library system, the following changes in services have started from January 2023.

Checkout, Renewal

• PIN code is no longer required; only the IC card is needed.
• Receipts are now issued upon checkout at the counter, as is the case with self-checkout machines. Stamps of the due date have been eliminated.
• Previously, a book on loan from "Online Request" could only be extended once per book, but now it can be extended three times.

Library Catalog

• Add SNS linkage buttons to the search results screen. The URL of the detailed information pages can be posted to SNS.
• Request form button have been added to the search results page. When using materials in the "stack room" at the Ookayama Library, please print out the request form or present screen of your device with the request form displayed on it to the counter.
