■To visitors

We can not provide any service to non-campus members due to the long term renovation work.

Closing Period: from April 2020 to June 2021 (tentative)

We apologize for any inconvenience this long term closing may cause and thank you for your understanding.
We will announce later that we can start providing services at our library web site as soon as we are ready.

 

■To Tokyo Tech members

Suzukakedai Library will be relocated to the Temporary Library and will be reopened as follows due to the entire renovation work. Temporary Library will start to provide some of the services for faculties, staff and students allowed to come to campus for research activities.

Opening date:

Monday, June 22

*When you use the temporary library, please take your shoes off the entrance and change into slippers.

*To enter the library, you need the IC card such as student card, staff card, or access card issued by Tokyo Tech.

Open hours

Weekdays, 10:00 to 16:00
(Closed, Saturday, Sunday and national holidays.)

*Please return books to the return post in front of the entrance of R3 Annex D.


■Following services are available

  • Browsing and borrowing about 10,000 titles, mainly academic books and learning language books and others. You need your IC card (student card/staff card/access card) and your 6-digit PIN code for checkout.
  • Browsing academic journals, mainly volumes issued after 2019. Library staffs could make copies instead of you if you need.
  • If you need to use materials in the Ookayama Library for research, please contact us at the address below.

Note : You CANNOT request books for borrowing and copying of academic papers from other libraries. Restart date is undecided.

 

■Following services are NOT available.

  • Browsing newspapers and general magazines.
  • Borrowing a note book and iPad.
  • Using seats and Seminar Presentation Rooms.

 

How You Can Help

  • Wash your hands with soap soon after entering the library and using the library materials.
  • When you enter the library, please wear a mask.
  • To avoid the risk, try to shorten your staying time inside the libraries.
  • Please keep the social distance, about 2 meters(6 feet), from other users.

We will take measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and ask your cooperation such as thorough hand-washing.
