Taking photos/videos in the Libraries is not allowed.
However, the Libraries may permit photography/filming that fits within the public relations of our Institute as long as the process does not disturb library users.
Please understand the conditions below before applying.
Conditions
- A photo/video shoot should be between 8:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on a weekday.
- All activities of the shoot must be carried out so as not to disturb library users.
- No library users should be taken in the photos/videos, even unintentionally.
- Library materials or furniture cannot be moved without permission.
- An applicant takes all the responsibility for photography/filming.
- Using the photos/videos taken in the shoot is restricted to the purpose approved.
- The photos/videos taken in the shoot may be checked by library staff.
How to Apply
Please send an email to the address below at least one week before the date of your shoot and inform us of the following 1-5.
We will send you an email back to tell you if your shoot is allowed or not.
- Name
- Affiliation/Year
- The purpose of photography/filming
- The date & time of photography/filming
- The Library you have a shoot (Ookayama/Suzukakedai)
