Ookayama Library will reopen on Monday, June 22 and start to provide some of the services for faculties, staff and students allowed to come to campus for research activities or classes, according to the Tokyo Tech policy against COVID-19.
Please note that it may be changed again due to future social conditions.

Opening Hour

from Monday, June 22 August 17 until Wednesday, September 29 further notice
Weekdays only: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. 8:45 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Weekends and Holidays: Closed 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Those who can enter the library

Faculties, staff and students allowed to come to campus for research activities. coming to campus for research activities or classes.

*Campus Members other than those listed above and visitors are not allowed to enter the library.
*When enter the library, you need the IC card such as student card, staff card, or access card issued by Tokyo Tech.
*We are offering  "Books-by-mail service" for students.

Available Services

Borrowing, returning and copying

*Due date will be Wednesday, October 7.
 Undergraduates:2 weeks
 Graduates:4 weeks
*You need your IC card (student card/staff card/access card) and your 6-digit PIN code for checkout.

Available Places

The first basement floor and the second basement floor

*No seats available.
*Refresh Room is not available.

We ask your cooperation as follows;

  • Wash your hands with soap soon after entering the library and using the library materials.
  • When you enter the library, please wear a mask.
  • To avoid the risk, try to shorten your staying time inside the libraries.
  • Please keep the social distance, about 2 meters(6 feet), from other users.

We will take measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and ask your cooperation such as thorough hand-washing.

The following services are not available until further notice.

  • Reservation / Intercampus Borrowing
    *If you need to use materials in the Suzukakedai Library for research, please contact us at the address below.
  • Interlibrary Loan for articles and books
  • Recommending / Requesting Books Recommending / Requesting Books: Acceptance of applications for “Purchase request” is currently suspended. Faculty members can submit recommendations of "Course-related books“, "Self-study books" and so on.
