Notes
- In the library catalog of the Science and engineering fields Library, it is not possible to order books held by the Medical and dental sciences fields Library, nor to pick them up at that library.
- The following books and materials cannot be requested:
- Books from the "新着コーナー", "新着・読み物", and"大岡山Day" at Konodai Library
- Audiovisual materials (e.g., DVDs)
- Non-circulating books
- Oversized books that cannot be delivered
- Journals held by the Medical and dental sciences fields Library cannot be requested (loaned) to the Science and engineering fields Library.
- Books from the Liberal Arts Library cannot be requested for delivery to any libraries at Science Tokyo. Please borrow these directly from the Liberal Arts Library.
- Delivery to the library where you wish to collect books may take some days.
Book Returns
Books borrowed from Ookayama Library, Ochanomizu Library, Konodai Library, and Suzukakedai Library can be returned at any of these 4 libraries.
Notes
- It may take several days for books to be delivered from the return library to the holding library. If the return processing date exceeds the due date because of delivery time, borrowing will be restricted at both the holding library and the other library within the same field. Please be aware of this in advance.
- Books from the Liberal Arts Library cannot be returned to any of the libraries at Science Tokyo. Please return them directly to the Liberal Arts Library.
Book Renewal
The due date cannot be extended in the following cases.
・You have overdue books.
・You are during the loan-suspended period.
・The books is reserved by another user.
*The due dates and reservation status of materials at the Science and Engineering Fields Library can be checked through the library catalog of the Science and engineering fields Library.
Books from Science and engineering fields Library(Ookayama Library or Suzukakedai Library)
Renewal procedures cannot be completed at the Medical and Dental Sciences Fields Library.
You can renew books at the Ask service or circulation counters of the Science and engineering fields Library.
- During the loan period, please apply for a loan extension through the Ask Service of the Science and Engineering Fields Library. You may renew your loan up to three times.
User ID: The User ID printed on your Science and Technology Library User Card
Subject: Request for Loan Extension
Comments: Please include the "Loan BookID" of the item you wish to renew and state that you wish to extend the loan period.
- If you prefer to complete the procedure in person, you can renew books at the circulation counters by Science and engineering fields Library. Please bring your Library card issued by Science and engineering fields Library and the book you are borrowing.
Books from Medical and dental sciences fields Library(Ochanomizu Library and Konodai Library)
Renewal procedures cannot be completed at the Science and engineering fields Library.
You can renew the loan period with an extra 14 days (only once).
Please contact Ochanomizu Library (info-serve.lib@ml.tmd.ac.jp) or Konodai Library (branch.lib@ml.tmd.ac.jp) by email, clearly stating your name and "Loan BookID" of the item you wish to renew.
