Entering

  • When you enter the library, you need your IC card (student card/staff card/access card) issued by the former Tokyo Tech and the Science Tokyo (Science and Engineering fields).
  • Touch the gate sensor with your IC card one by one to open the gate.

  • If you forget your IC card, please ask at the circulation counter. You will be able to enter the library after the prescribed procedure.
  • Users belong to in medicine, dentistry, health care sciences, and oral health care sciences fields: Show your Photo ID (staff IC card or student IC card) to the staff at the circulation counter. 
  • Science Tokyo High School Students: Show your students card to the staff at the circulation counter.
  • Library Card issued by Ookayama Library and Suzukakedai Library holders: Show your Library Card to the staff at the circulation counter.

  • When you enter from pathway between the library and “Taki Plaza", touch your IC card to the IC card reader next to the door to unlock it.
  • When you go to the second floor and above, touch your IC card on the IC card reader at the stairs, the EV or the automatic door.
  • The 1st floor entrance is only available from 8:45 to 17:00 on weekdays.

  • No card is required to enter the first floor; please touch your IC card to use the second floor and above.

Existing

  • When you leave the library, go through the exit gate. No card is required.
  • If you have library materials not yet checked out, an alarm will go off.
